You may have noticed the last time I blogged was way back in November!! But that’s because I’ve been hard at work, designing away for some amazing clients! 2014 has been a huge year with a ton of custom invitations and custom booklet orders. August/September the studio is a little quieter so in the next coming weeks I will be working closely with my talented photographer to show of some of these great designs!
I wanted to start with one of my absolute favorites this season. This booklet invitation is one of my newest styles. Grommet bound booklet with twine and custom logo. These booklets are available in a 4 page, 6 page, or 8 page layout. I love the bride and grooms choice of colors of navy, pinks, and greens and the mix of graphic patterns and illustrated flowers…perfect for a summer wedding! Congratulations Anne & Patrick! We knocked this one out of the park! To view more booklet styles, head over to my custom invitation booklet section on my website.
Wow its been some time since I’ve blogged! Hurricane Sandy hit pretty hard in our area and we were left without power for about a week. Although having no power for a week seemed like an eternity, we were very very lucky to have no damage to our home and everyone is safe. Now that things have calmed down, gas lines are back to normal, and power is restored for 99% of our area, I’m jumping into full swing with some exciting projects ahead!
One exciting project I am working on is a booklet invitation for my bride Karen who is having a destination wedding in Aruba! We’re just about wrapping up with the final design but in the meantime, here is a little wedding destination inspiration I pulled together and a sneak peak of her designs!
I’m completely ecstatic over these rustic save the date booklets that were just created for Angela and Eric! Not only did she use my favorite color combination of green and purple, she chose to go all out with her save the dates by choosing the booklet style (my absolute favorite thing to design). We also thought using a wood grain texture card stock would really add to the whole rustic feel. This was definitely a rustic beauty.
