Navy and Pink Whimsical Wedding Invitation Booklets

You may have noticed the last time I blogged was way back in November!! But that’s because I’ve been hard at work, designing away for some amazing clients! 2014 has been a huge year with a ton of custom invitations and custom booklet orders. August/September the studio is a little quieter so in the next coming weeks I will be working closely with my talented photographer to show of some of these great designs!

I wanted to start with one of my absolute favorites this season. This booklet invitation is one of my newest styles. Grommet bound booklet with twine and custom logo. These booklets are available in a 4 page, 6 page, or 8 page layout. I love the bride and grooms choice of colors of navy, pinks, and greens and the mix of graphic patterns and illustrated flowers…perfect for a summer wedding! Congratulations Anne & Patrick! We knocked this one out of the park! To view more booklet styles, head over to my custom invitation booklet section on my website.

Second Anniversary Photo Session

Hey everyone! Welcome to the new website! In the next couple weeks I am going to be introducing A LOT of new products. We’re talking an entire new Collection featuring unique greeting cards and custom invitations! In the meantime, I’d like to share something my husband and I did a few weeks ago.

I’ve always wanted to do a second photo session for our anniversary…just for fun. Let’s face it girls, you know you want to get back into your wedding dress and prance around the living room. Ok maybe you don’t, but I’ll admit it; every time I saw my wedding dress hanging in the closet, I was tempted to try it on and casually walk around the house. I desperately wanted to wear my dress again…. one more special moment without any of the stress that comes with a wedding. Another time my husband and I could dress up, laugh, get a little dirty and not have to worry about getting to our cocktail hour on time!

So that said, we contacted our fellow friend Jacque of Jaqueline Foxx Photography who happened to have a free weekend around our anniversary. Not only did she take amazing photos, but we had such a blast! I can’t tell you how many times people congratulated us thinking it was our wedding day. At one point, an entire motorcycle gang honked their horns as they passed us on the street. It was like we got married all over again! I can now say I am ready to finally preserve and pack away my dress knowing I got complete use out of it.

Destination Wedding Inspiration: Aruba

Wow its been some time since I’ve blogged! Hurricane Sandy hit pretty hard in our area and we were left without power for about a week. Although having no power for a week seemed like an eternity, we were very very lucky to have no damage to our home and everyone is safe. Now that things have calmed down, gas lines are back to normal, and power is restored for 99% of our area, I’m jumping into full swing with some exciting projects ahead!

One exciting project I am working on is a booklet invitation for my bride Karen who is having a destination wedding in Aruba! We’re just about wrapping up with the final design but in the meantime, here is a little wedding destination inspiration I pulled together and a sneak peak of her designs!

Yellow and Gray Chevron inspiration

Being summer is my absolute favorite season, I’m really bummed its coming to an end.  I figured I’d end the season with something bright and sunny. Yellow and gray is one of my favorite color combinations.  And I just love anything with a chevron pattern!
